Mouth guards protect your teeth from injury during sports or nighttime grinding. Custom-fitted for comfort and safety, they help prevent broken teeth, jaw pain, and long-term damage to your smile.
We take impressions of your teeth to custom-fit a mouth guard. It’s made from durable material and designed to protect your teeth during sports or from grinding while you sleep.
Mouth guards prevent tooth damage from grinding or sports injuries. They reduce jaw tension, protect dental work, and help you avoid long-term complications like enamel loss or fractured teeth.
Mouth Guards
Protect teeth from grinding or sports injuries.
Patients who grind their teeth at night or play contact sports should consider mouth guards. They protect teeth from damage, reduce jaw tension, and help prevent wear or injury.
We take impressions and create a custom-fit guard. Once ready, we check comfort and make adjustments if needed. You’ll wear it at night or during sports to prevent damage from grinding or impact. It’s easy to use and comfortable.
Custom mouth guards take two appointments. The first visit (30 minutes) is for impressions. Your guard is ready within 1–2 weeks. The second visit (15–20 minutes) is for delivery and fitting. Most patients adjust to wearing them quickly.
Mouth guards must be worn consistently to be effective. If used for grinding, expect some adjustment time. Clean them regularly and replace them as they wear down to maintain protection and comfort.
No recovery is required. For night guards, it may take a few nights to adjust. For sports guards, you’re ready to use it immediately. Keep it clean and bring it to checkups to ensure proper fit.
